What an honor!

A. Peltier Interiors Inc. had the privilege of participating in the Pasadena Showcase House. This prestigious event is one of the largest Showcase Homes in the country drawing tens of thousands of visitors each year. psha has supported the los angeles philharmonic for over 60 years and gifts and grants are awarded to organizations that provide programs oriented toward music.
Interior designers must go through interviews and tryouts to even be considered and chosen to design a space. Once chosen designers have very limited timelines to bring their vision to life.


The carriage house sitting room was designed with small intimate gatherings in mind. The intensely rich color used on the trim and walls immediately created a moody atmosphere, while the textural grass cloth wallpaper used on the walls added depth while the high gloss paint added contrast. The four chairs defined the intimate seating area grounded by the round coffee table and unique chandelier made from wrapped wire. A large modern art piece creates conversation. The soft a natural lines of the patterns and materials used throughout the nursery and bathroom were chosen for both mother and baby. The whimsical design has notes of sophistication and maturity and the furniture pieces will grow with the child and family. Convertible crib, a dresser used as a changer and a large daybed in a luxurious velvet are all pieces that are fitting from the baby years and beyond. Classic fixtures with a hint of modern were used in the bathroom and. Space was a premium so every detail was though out carefully from the walk in shower to maximize space to the large farmhouse sink where the baby can be bathed.
